I haven’t updated in a while.

But I guess there is not really a lot going on at the moment.

Let’s go to the page stuff first:

I made a new layout for Obsess Much? and the Splash Page for my domain. They are both in a black and white Caroline and the City Layout now. Personally, I really like it, but that’s probably ’cause I’m kinda obsessed with the show? Yeah, that might be it. So, what do you guys think about it? Do you like it? Please give me your input, I’d really appreciate it.

Other than that, well, I applied for two new fanlistings. Both in the Stage Shows category. And both fanlistings where I wondered why I didn’t think about making them earlier.

The first one is for the musical “Tanz der Vampire”, in the USA known as “Dance of Vampires”. It is very popular over here in Germany, I saw it twice myself, and wouldn’t mind seeing it a third time before it closes in August. I’m quite upset about it closing, but oh well, it’s been running for about 3 years now? Not quite sure, but 3 years sounds about right.

Anyway, the second fanlisting is for the musical “A New Brain”, which is my favorite musical of all time. When I first listened to it, I loved it right away. I wodner what I have been waiting for. I could’ve applied for those fanlistings a long time ago!

Now for the personal stuff. Well, there’s not really much to tell.

Besides the fact that I really want to go back to New York. And something that is pretty new…If possible, stay there forever. Yeah, you heard right.

For a long time I always thought I wouldn’t want to live in the USA forever, especially not in a huge city like New York. After all, I hate big cities! But it’s different with New York, don’t ask me to explain, ’cause I really don’t know why.

I talked about this with a friend yesterday, and I guess the reason for me wanting to live in the USA in general, is that I just want to get away from everything here. Want to make a new start. Since things aren’t going too well for me over here. And while we were in New York I could forget about all of this. That was the best time I had in ages, and leaving New York was a hard thing to do. I just didn’t want to.

Something else I just remembered: Oh, my doc is hot! The one I have to see about my toe. Really looking forward to every visit. *g*

I just got mail from New York!

I sent my playbill of “Polish Joke” with a letter to Malcolm to the theater two weeks ago, and I got a reply!!

Not only the signed playbill (with dedication), but also a letter from Malcolm!! I can’t believe it! This is wonderful, you see me in tears right now. I know it’s crazy to be this happy about a letter, but omg, this means so much to me. And once again I feel like a teenager! lol

Anyway, here’s what he writes:

Thanks for your kind note – and for coming such a long way to see “Polish Joke”.

Regarding your questions with a CD, I just recorded “Amour” – a Broadway musical I appeared in last fall. It should be out late summer. And hopefully I’ll do my own solo CD this year.

As for “Love in the Time…”, I am unaware of it’s future, but would assume it will end up on DVD.

I hope all is well for you in Germany – I am of German descent myself – the original spelling of my last name was Getz.

Yeah, that’s me. *sighs*

On sunday I made breakfast for my mom and myself while she was out to get some fresh rolls. Well, I was just walking around getting everything ready… well, I walked over to our cupboard to get some plates and stuff. On the way there I ran into the couch. My pinkie toe hurt a lot, but I thought it’s the usual, it’s not like this is the first time that happened.

But this time i was quite different. My toe didn’t stop hurting and actually started to turn blue. On monday it was dark purple and still hurt. When it still hurt a lot today I decided to see a doctor, to make sure it’s nothing bad. Well, guess what….it’s fractured!!! There is just a tiny little bone in your pinkie toe, and I actually was able to break that!! Something like that can only happen to me! *shakes head*

I’m starting to get some things up on my page.

I’m nowhere near done yet, but at least I got rid of that hiatus page…

Malcolm is so gorgeous!!!! I would’ve never thought that he can look any better than he does on CitC and pictures, but woah!!! He’s just….yeah, like I already said….GORGEOUS!

I’m in love! 🙂

We saw the play twice and I was in the first row right on front of the stage both times. Just like 1-2 meters away from him!!!!

Yesterday I spent almost 5 hours at my hairstylist…yeap, almost 5 hours! Well, he had a big job to do. He just looked at me with wide eyes when he saw I had died my hair black, and lots of it was already grown out. When I told him I want to have red hair again he asked how much of my hair length I want to keep the size I have his eyes got even wider. But yeap, they made it. It was a long, difficult task but I still have my long hair and it’s red. The shades differ in some spaces, but I don’t really mind that. Actually it looks kinda cool.

Now for the “so weird” part of my subject…Everytime I look into a mirror I’m very surprised, like “Woah, I have red hair”. I guess I got so used to the black, don’t know. But it’s funny. 🙂

I was at the movies with my mom tonight. I’ve never been to that theater before, they only show 3 movies at a time, very small everything.

Anyway, we saw this documentation, the english title is “To have and to be”. It’s a wodnerful documentation about those small schools with only one class in the French countryside. Of course the movie was all in French, translation would’ve just hurt this masterpiece. Luckily they had subtitles though. 🙂 I was very surprised about how much I understood though. Anyway, I couldn’t read much of the subtitles ’cause tehre was this guy sitting two rows in front of me and his head was huge and was sitting straight up most of the time. And he really didn’t have to sit so far in the front, he didn’t need to see the subtitles, he was French! Grrrrr……doesn’t improve my opinion on some French people. *sighs*

Anyway, what also made this movie experience so special, started with a shriek of the French guy’s girlfriend. Right in front of her, there was suddenly a cat peeking over the seat! Hilarious I tell you. You saw her peeking up from different place all the way through the movie. That was just the cutest thing.

So, one thing to tell you, You really really should watch this movie, it’s funny, charming, interesting, sad…..everything you need. For the Germans, the movie is called “Sein und Haben” here. 🙂

I just installed the right-click feature. I can right-click anywhere in Internet Explorer and chose “Post to Greymatter”. And actually the fully coded link to the site I clicked in is posted in here too.

So this is it. The New Layout for my homepage, and I even added a blog!

I really don’t know how often I will use it, probably mainly for updates, after all, I do have my LJ. Maybe I will write everything in both, maybe not. We’ll see.

Anyway, I’m quite excited about my new layout.

Now I just need to put up all the content. Yay! How I’m looking forward to that. *rolls eyes*
